website you are subject to the terms and conditions laid out below.
These terms and conditions can be changed without notice. Terms and conditions will
be published on the OurFuture.net.nz website and noted with the latest date of modification.
Continued contributions to OurFuture following modification of the terms and conditions
indicates you agree to abide by the modified terms and conditions.
Copyright
Content submitted by contributors remains the property of the author. Content posted
on OurFuture.net.nz may not be reused, sold or modified by any party without the
consent of the author, unless otherwise stated by the author.
Disclaimer
Landcare Research is not liable in any manner whatsoever to any contributor or any
third party as a result of any information posted on the OurFuture website or any
action or inaction of a contributor.
Protocols
As owner of the technology and host of the OurFuture.net.nz, Landcare Research has
discussed appropriate protocols with likely users and developed the following principles
of use:
- The website is made available free of charge to organisations
Landcare Research will:
- Provide and maintain the OurFuture website technology at no cost to organisations,
groups and individuals publishing content that describes projects and activities
that create positive outcomes for New Zealand’s natural environment and resources.
- Provide login access and basic training in publishing content at no cost.
- Continue to promote the site and encourage additional contributors to come on board.
- Remove the content and/or contact any contributor if there are reservations about
the accuracy, lawfulness or appropriateness of content, but will not actively monitor
and moderate content.
- Reserve the right to withdraw the OurFuture service and website either completely
or to particular users at its discretion.
Contributors will:
- Ensure that the content they post is accurate, up to date and not misleading, and
does not breach any New Zealand law including those relating to copyright.
- Not add content that criticises specific people or organisations or is threatening,
harmful, obscene, sexually explicit or otherwise objectionable.
- Not use the website to market their green credentials or sell products and services.
Industry organisations may publish information about best practice by their members
for the benefit of other organisations. This may include information about award
schemes and winners.
- Remove the content and/or contact any contributor if there are reservations about
the accuracy, lawfulness or appropriateness of content, but will not actively monitor
and moderate content.
- Promptly remove, or, if requested, modify content if Landcare Research considers that
the contributor’s content does not comply with this agreement.
